We're excited to see and welcome so many new riders who hopped on bikes last year. To kick off our season, check out our self-guided community rides and the DIY Trailnet Classics coming up. Keep a look out for the in-person rides we're putting together later this year. If you've spent time riding on our roads you'll have seen an all too common sight: people on their phones while driving. Missouri is one of two states without a texting ban for drivers. Trailnet is working with state-wide advocates to end distracted driving. How to help: Contact your state lawmakers and let them know you support legislation to end distraced driving. We all play a role in traffic safety - set an example and encourage friends and family to put down their phones while driving.
Phone related crashes in Missouri have increased by 31% since 2014, with nearly 2,500 crashes in 2018 alone.
